Excellent report from Harvard on ODR in the EU

Three students from Harvard Law School's Negotiation and Mediation Clinical Program have just released an excellent and comprehensive report on the current landscape for ODR in the EU.  I highly recommend all odr.info readers check it out.

ODR at ABA Section on Dispute Resolution Conference

For those of you coming to the American Bar Association Section on Dispute Resolution this week in Washington (or if you live in the DC area), there are several sessions dealing with ODR -

Seeking Global Mediators for Online Mediation Simulations via Skype

ACR Hawaii is currently seeking mediators across the USA and around the world to participate in "Virtual Mediation Lab" -- a pilot project sponsored the Association for Conflict Resolution Hawaii Chapter – www.acrhawaii.com

The goal is to show how mediators can practice and improve their mediation skills by participating – with other mediators – in online mediation simulations via Skype.  The only requirements for participating in Virtual Mediation Lab are:

ODR experts wanted for online facilitation

"We are looking for people who have some experience in dialogue facilitation and/or dispute mediation to facilitate on-line discussions during the first half of April.  You will receive a modest stipend of $600 for helping us.  No experience with *on line* facilitation is required (though it is a plus, as is an ongoing interest in online facilitation or mediation).  We will provide some training and materials related to the on-line aspect.
