ODR: The State of the Field

February 23 - 27, 2004

The theme this year is an exploration of the state of ODR as a field of practice and inquiry. The field of ODR is a hybrid, owing its existence to related disciplines of Law, Conflict Management, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Information Science, Business, Managment and Governance. It is time to take stock of where we are, where we've been, and most importantly where we are going. All Cyberweek events are accessible through the Cyberweek 2004 portal

Simulation: Fraunhofer Institute's DITO online-participation platform, cyberweek participants can poll on "The Use & Benefits of synchronous and asynchronous Modes of Communication in ODR" using the integrated polling function of our discussion forum DITO. The cumulative results will be presented online instantly. In additon we will introduce into the mediation case in DITO
