Chris Peterson

Chris Peterson is Senior Counselor for Web Communications at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a member of the Board of Directors of the National Coalition Against Censorship.  He is an alumnus of the Legal Studies Department at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. As an undergraduate Chris researched the ways in which online spaces and social software affect human behavior and communication, culminating in his honors thesis on the privacy architecture of Facebook. At present, Chris works on web communications, outreach, and strategy.  Previously, he was a research assistant at the Berkman Center for Internet and Society at Harvard Law School.
